Ruyi Peak is a rising star among scenic spots in Yangshuo, located in the Gaotian countryside, about 25 km from downtown Guilin. Known for its dramatic karst landscapes and thrilling glass-bottom skywalk, Ruyi Peak offers a breathtaking blend of natural beauty and modern adventure.
The peak gets its name from the Chinese word “Ruyi” (如意), meaning “as you wish,” as the winding mountain ridges resemble a traditional jade ruyi scepter. The entire area is shaped like a dragon soaring through the clouds—an iconic symbol in Chinese culture.
